HARCHESTER UNITED 2
John Rob Dutton (1)
chris ashley (1)
AFC SMETHWICK 4

dreadful start lead to an experienced smethwick side take control of the game from the start, goalkeeper dan edwards was stuck on the m6 and missed kick off and stand in keeper ash dutton had the worst game he could possibly have.
smethwick who had scored 24 goals in 6 games must have thought xmas had come early when mistake after mistake lead to them being 4-0 up at half time, chris ashley missed a penalty when the keeper dived to his right and a rout looked on the cards
2nd half saw a massive improvement in lichfield but it was all too much to ask after such a poor opening 45.chris ashley bundled a goal over the line and gaz downie scored a second, smethwicks man of the match keeper pulled off 3 stunning saves to give them 3 points
man of the match for lichfield was danny worrall for covering every blade of grass on the pitch
massive improvement needed for this weeks visit to continental star
